Most State Courts require a Notary on a Proof of Service, Return of Service, Affidavit of Service, etc. for a document issued from a Court outside the State of California, but served upon a party within the State of California. This is called an Out of State Process Server. This Notary Fee is an actual fee for our Process Server's signature to be notarized.
